    • How to report critical issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.


Currently, only Admin permissions are available. Procore will add more permission levels later.

The Next-Gen Viewer allows you to isolate and manage specific elements within your 3D models. Hiding objects helps you declutter your view, making it easier to focus on specific components, verify model details, and improve visual clarity during your project coordination tasks.

Steps

You have the option to hide a selected object or to hide objects that are similar to your active selection.

Hide an Object

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a model.

  3. In the 3D model, click one or more objects to highlight it.

  4. Right-click the object to open the Actions menu and choose Hide > Hide Object

Hide Similar Objects

Follow these steps to hide objects similar to your selection on a model:

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a model.

  3. In the Next-Gen Viewer, click one or more objects in the model to select it. The object turns red.

  4. Right-click to open the Actions drop-down menu, click Hide > Hide Similar.

Hide Selected Objects from the Object Tree

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a model.

  3. In the Next-Gen Viewer, click Object Tree.

  4. Mark the checkbox next to one or more folders or objects to make a selection.

  5. Right-click the folder or object to open a shortcut menu and choose Hide Selected. This image shows the Object Tree panel with the Hide Selected option in the Model Manager's shortcut menu.
