Reset a Model View to the Home Default

Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

Resetting the model view restores your perspective to the default Home orientation. This action immediately clears all active measurements, sectioning cuts, and object selections from the viewing area.

    • Returning to the default Home orientation automatically removes any temporary sectioning, measurement paths, or highlighted object selections.

Steps

  1. Tap the Procore icon on your iOS or Android mobile device to open the Procore Mobile app.

  2. .Tap Home View (or select a saved project view card) to open your model.

  3. Tap Reset on the viewer toolbar.

What This Action Clears and Resets

Tapping Reset automatically clears your active workspace by completing the following:

  • Reset camera position: Returns the camera to its default home viewpoint.

  • Clear selections: Deselects any highlighted objects or elements.

  • Remove measurements: Discards all active point-to-point, laser, or coordinate measurements.

  • Remove sections: Deletes any active section planes or section boxes.

  • Unhide geometry: Restores any hidden or isolated model elements to full visibility.
