What are multi-tiered locations?
Answer
Locations give you the ability to link different Procore items (e.g., RFIs, Submittals, and more) to specific locations on a job site. This helps project team members to pinpoint the exact location(s) on a job site where a defect was observed, where materials are to be installed, or where a project change order occurred.
Locations are generally tiered in a hierarchy to associate parent and sub-locations.

Tier 1 - Project
Tier 2 - Floor
Tier 3 - Room
Your locations hierarchy can be generated from drawings, imported, or manually created.
If your location hierarchy is imported or manually created, Project Admins can allow users to create additional locations in other Procore tools, such as the Daily Log, Punch List, or RFIs.
