Overview

Procore’s Connection Manager links your project to others within the same or a different Procore account. This connection automatically syncs project information and breaks down silos between collaborators.

RFIs, Submittals, and Drawings each have three possible connection statuses:

  • Active: The connection is live and working.

  • Inactive: A connection has never been established.

  • Disabled: A previous connection was severed and can no longer be used

How it Works

Flowchart showing Sending and Receiving account workflow with orange and blue process blocks for document sharing and collaboration.

Data flows from a Sending project to a Receiving project. To link them, a user with access to both projects uses the Connection Manager tool in the Receiving project.

Sending projects can either auto-approve links or require manual review. To stay informed, you can configure alerts to notify specific users about new connections, disconnections, and connection requests (if review is required). See Connection Manager: Configure Advanced Settings.

Admins can disconnect at any time. Existing data will remain, but new updates will stop.
