Currently, only Admin permissions are available. Procore will add more permission levels later.

The Object Tree in the Next-Gen Viewer lets you navigate the model’s structural hierarchy by Levels, Categories, or Families. Use this tool to isolate specific elements or toggle visibility to focus on relevant data in the 3D space.

Steps

Follow these steps to inspect a model with the Object Tree:

  1. Launch the Procore Mobile app on your device.

  2. Go to the desired Procore project.

  3. Tap the Model Manager tool.

  4. Open a model or project view. The mobile viewer supports both portrait and landscape orientation.

  5. In the lower toolbar, tap the General icon to reveal the available features.

  6. Tap the Object Tree icon.

  7. Find objects and toggle object visibility using these options Show/Hide Fields

    • Filter by Keyword: Enter text in the Filter by Keyword bar to find specific objects quickly.

    • Expand/Collapse Nodes: Interact with the arrows next to nodes to navigate the model hierarchy.

    • Toggle Visibility: Toggle the Eye icon - project model manager - show icon.

    • Load More: Select More… at the bottom of the panel to view additional objects in the list.

  8. Select an object in the 3D space.

  9. Right-click (Web) or long-press (iOS/Android) to access the shortcut menu: Show/Hide Details

    • Hide Selected: Use Actions > Hide Selected to remove your active pick from view.

    • Isolate: Use Actions > Isolate to expand the available options:

      • Isolate. Use Actions > Isolate to hide everything except your selection.

      • Isolate in X-Ray Mode: Use Actions > Isolate in X-Ray Mode to make the rest of the model transparent.

    • View Properties. Use Actions > View Properties to open the Properties sheet for your selection.

    • Zoom to Selection. Use Actions > Zoom to Select to zoom to the selection.

    • Add Section Plane. Use Actions > Add Section Plane to zoom to draw a section plane.
