Perform Bulk Actions on Inspections

Background

Manage high-volume inspection records efficiently by performing multi-item updates simultaneously. Execute edits, reassign team members, download files, and delete or restore multiple inspections in a single workflow.

Things to Consider

  • Required Permissions:

    • Admin level permissions on the project's Inspections tool.

    • Read Only or Standard level permissions with the 'Edit any Inspection' granular permission enabled to perform bulk edits, add assignees, and replace assignees. (Note: If users should only bulk edit their own items, you can include the 'Edit any inspection You created' or 'Edit any inspection where You are the Assignee' permissions here as well).

    • Read Only or Standard level permissions with the 'Delete and Retrieve any Inspection' granular permission enabled to delete items and restore items from the Recycle Bin.

    • Read Only level permissions (or higher) to select items and perform bulk downloads.

  • Additional Information:

    • Selection limit: Select the top header checkbox to select all visible records across row groupings.

    • Custom fields: Configure standard and custom fields in the Bulk Edit panel to modify supported inspection form inputs.
