Navigate to the project level Budget tool.
From the Snapshot dropdown, select the specific snapshot you wish to modify.
In the Snapshot Banner at the top of the budget, click Edit.
In the Edit Snapshot window, you can update the following fields:
Snapshot type. Select a snapshot type (Project status or Ad hoc).
Name. Change the title of the snapshot.
Status. Select a custom status. For details on how to create a custom status, see Create a Custom Status for Project Status Snapshots.
Period. Search for or select an open financial period from the drop-down list.
Note: The Period field is available only when the Financial Periods setting is enabled. See Enable or Disable Financial Periods for Project Status Snapshots.
Description. Adjust the internal notes or details.
Click Update to save your changes.
(Optional for Project Status Snapshots) If the selected period is already assigned to another snapshot, a confirmation dialog will appear:

Note: This transfers the financial period to the updated snapshot and converts the previously assigned snapshot into an Ad Hoc snapshot.
