What happens on scheduled runs after the User Activity history rollout? (Beta)

After your first successful run (regardless of whether you chose to perform a manual historical backfill), subsequent daily or hourly sync runs return to normal, steady-state data volumes. The Analytics Cloud Connector CLI is designed to only extract partitions where the event_date is greater than your recorded watermark. Because of this destination-aware processing, your ongoing warehouse and compute costs remain completely unchanged.

The partition for the current day is intentionally skipped during every run. The CLI only writes complete, finalized events from previous days; today's partition remains incomplete and will be captured during tomorrow's scheduled run.
