What are the differences between Legacy and New Drawings Viewer (Beta)?
Background
The New Drawings Viewer is available in beta. It uses the same viewer as Procore’s document tools and includes additional markup, measurement, and comparison features. During the beta, some features from the Legacy Drawings Viewer are still being added to the New Drawings Viewer (Beta). This article compares the features available in each viewer to help you understand current feature availability and track progress as new features are released.

What's New in the New Drawings Viewer
The New Drawings Viewer includes the following features that are not available in the Legacy Drawings Viewer:
Additional markup tools: Text highlight, callout, polyline, curve line, polygon, stamps, and counter.
Additional measurement tools: Arc and perimeter measurements, and area measurements for ellipses and polygons.
Side-by-side comparison: Compare two drawing revisions side by side, in addition to using overlay comparison.
Markup organization and productivity: Group markups, save style presets, rotate any markup, and undo or redo actions using keyboard shortcuts.
Markup filters: Filter markups by layer, author, type, and date.
