How frequently does financial data refresh in Analytics?

Financial data such as budgets, invoices, and change events are updated in Analytics twice per hour.

Key Details & Actions

  • Power BI Users: If you maintain a Power BI refresh schedule, you may need to update your schedule settings to take advantage of the faster data latency.

  • Tracking Data Freshness: Use the refreshed_timestamp column to see exactly when a specific table was last updated.

  • Deprecated Columns: The audit_transaction_timestamp column has been deprecated in favor of refreshed_timestamp.

  • Legacy Analytics Financial Tables Exception: The following legacy tables are not affected by this update and will continue to refresh hourly:

    • budget_snapshot_line_item_headers

    • budget_snapshot_line_item_forecasts

    • budget_views

    • budget_view_details

    • budget_view_standard_columns

    • budget_view_anticipated_cost_columns
