Import a Project Schedule

Importing your schedule centralizes your project's timeline, allowing the entire team to access the most current data in one place. Your import experience depends on how you plan to use the schedule:

• Option 1: Read-Only Reference – Each new import overwrites the previous data. This is best for viewing external schedules without making changes.

• Option 2: Editable Starting Point – New imports are added (appended) to your existing schedule. Choose this if you want to build upon or merge multiple schedules.

• Required User Permissions: 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Scheduling tool.

• Additional Considerations:

  • Procore supports .ppx (Phoenix), .mpp (Microsoft Project), and .xer (Primavera P6).

  • When importing, the project calendar is carried over directly from the native source file.

1. Navigate to the project's Scheduling tool.

2. Click Import.

3. Click Attach File(s) and select your schedule file, or drag-and-drop the file into the upload area.

4. Click Import.
