Procore Imports - Setup Guide

 Important

To import segment items to Procore's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), you must be using the Procore Imports app version 1.4.0 (or later). If you are running version 1.3.9 (or earlier), you must uninstall the Procore Imports app and then install the newer version.

Things to Consider

  • Procore Imports must be installed on a system running Microsoft Windows 10 or newer. It is NOT supported on earlier versions of Microsoft Windows, iOS devices, or MacOS.

  • Enterprise Deployments for IT administrators looking to perform a mass deployment or standard system-wide installation across multiple corporate devices can now download an alternate .msi package file installer instead of the standard .exe file.

Important

Procore Imports only supports the installation of the latest available version. If you attempt to install an older version, the installation process will be blocked. Always ensure you are downloading the most recent release from the Procore Support site.

Steps

  1. Click the link to download the latest version of Procore Imports: Download Now.
Note: Alternate .msi installation package options are available for enterprise IT administrators downloading from the same location.

  2. From your browser or local directory, locate and double-click the ProcoreImportsSetup.msi file inside your deployment folder.
Note: If launching the enterprise setup wizard (ProcoreImportsSetup.msi), you can execute standard configurations or silent, unattended installations across your corporate devices.

  3. When the setup wizard initializes, click Next to proceed.

  4. Choose your desired deployment option under the Installation Scope window:

    • Install just for you: Installs Procore Imports in a local per-user folder. Local Administrator privileges are not required.

    • Install for all users of this machine: Installs Procore Imports in a per-machine folder by default. Local Administrator privileges are required.

  5. Click Next to verify your setup parameters.

  6. On the configuration overview screen, click Install to execute the background deployment script.

  7. Once the progress bar reaches completion, keep the Launch Procore Imports box checked and click Finish to close out the wizard.

The application will immediately open to the Procore account sign-in interface post-installation. If it does not launch automatically, double-click the Procore Imports icon on your computer's desktop. See Log in to Procore Imports.
