Edit a User Account in the Company Directory

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Company level Directory tool.

  2. Locate the user record to modify. Then click Edit.

  3. Optional: If the user is employed by or affiliated with a company already in the Company level Directory, you can update the user's personal information with the information from the company by selecting the company in the 'Company Name' drop-down menu and clicking Copy to Personal Information.

  4. Update the user's Personal Information. Show/Hide Fields

    • First Name. The user's first name.

    • Last Name. The users' last name.

    • Initials. The user's initials.

    • Email Address (Admin Only). The email address where the user receives Procore notifications.
      Notes:

    • Login. Edit the user's login information. This is the specific email address that receives security-related communications, such as password resets.

    • Address. The user's address.

    • City. The city associated with the user's address.

    • Country/State. The state associated with the user's address.

    • ZIP. The ZIP code associated with the user's address.

    • Business Phone. The user's business phone number.

    • Business Fax. The user's fax number.

    • Cell Phone. The user's mobile phone number.

    • Job Title. The user's job title.

    • Tags/Keywords. Any tags and keywords for the user.

    • Admin Only: The following fields can only be viewed and updated by users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Directory tool.

      • Active? A checkmark indicates that the user is active.

      • Classification. A classification for the user. See Add a Classification.

      • Send This User Messages. Users can receive messages from Procore 'Via Email' or 'Not at All'.
        Notes:

        • Setting this to ‘Not at All’ stops all Procore emails, including password resets, invitations, and distribution list messages.

        • If you will be designating this user as an invoice contact, always select 'Via Email' to ensure that any invoice-related messages are sent.

      • Is Employee Of [Company Name]?. A checkmark indicates that the user is an employee of your company.

      • Is an Insurance Manager of [Company Name]? A checkmark indicates that the user is an for your company.

      • Attachments.

        1. Click Attach File(s) or use a drag-and-drop to select a file on your computer and attach it to the user's record.

  5. Save the information:

    • Optional: Mark the checkbox to send an invitation.

    • Click Save or Save and Manage Projects.
