Edit a User Account in the Company Directory
Things to Consider
Updating a user profile in the Company Directory automatically syncs the changes across all their assigned projects.
While you cannot delete user accounts from the Company Directory, you can deactivate them. See Deactivate User Accounts in the Company Directory.
Updating this email address may not change the user's login email address. See Can I change a person's email address in the Directory?
If you have the Resource Planning tool and data syncs enabled, shared fields in the Personal Information section are updated in both tools. See What People Information Syncs between the Procore Company Directory and Resource Planning?
Editing a user's login:
Company Directory admins on an SSO domain can update login emails for coworkers in that same domain, or other users who only have user accounts in your company's Procore account. See Can I change a person's email address in the Directory?
Without SSO, users can change their login email in ‘My Profile Settings’ if the new address isn't already used in Procore. See Change Your Login ID Email Address for Your Procore User Account.
Steps
Navigate to the Company level Directory tool.
Locate the user record to modify. Then click Edit.
Optional: If the user is employed by or affiliated with a company already in the Company level Directory, you can update the user's personal information with the information from the company by selecting the company in the 'Company Name' drop-down menu and clicking Copy to Personal Information.
Save the information:
Optional: Mark the checkbox to send an invitation.
Click Save or Save and Manage Projects.
