Strengthen Your Security: Procore MFA

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)—also referred to as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)—is being rolled out to limited Procore commercial accounts. While MFA is mandatory for Procore Pay users, MFA is available on a limited basis to commercial accounts to provide our customers an extra layer of security. To enable MFA for your organization, ask your Procore Administrator to contact your Procore point of contact.

Background

For Procore's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to work, the time on your mobile device must be in sync with Procore's servers. If your device's clock is not set to update automatically, it can drift out of sync. Even a difference of a few seconds will cause your MFA authenticator app codes to fail.

To prevent this, enable the 'Set Automatically' feature in your device's time settings.

On an Android Device

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap General Management or System.

  3. Tap Date & Time.

  4. Tap the toggle to turn ON Set time automatically.

On an iOS Device (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap General.

  3. Tap Date & Time.

  4. Tap the toggle to turn ON Set Automatically.

 Notes

  • The code from your authenticator app expires every 30 seconds.

  • If your company requires MFA, you must enter this code to log in to Procore.
